About Intersect
Founded in Shibuya, Tokyo in 2023. The observation that prompted it: Japanese enterprises had the AI use cases, the budget, and the executive support — and still couldn't ship. The problem was always the integration layer.
Why we built Askhub
Japanese enterprises are not short of AI ambition. By 2023, most mid-to-large organizations had at least one AI pilot underway, leadership backing, and a defined use case. What they didn't have was a production agent. When Takuya Matsumoto began working on enterprise AI deployments in Tokyo, the same pattern appeared in every engagement: the AI problem was solvable in weeks. The integration problem — connecting kintone records, SAP modules, SharePoint libraries, and proprietary REST APIs into something an LLM could actually query — was consuming twelve to eighteen months and most of the budget.
The underlying AI wasn't the bottleneck. The connectors were. Every organization solved the same integration problems from scratch, with custom middleware that needed its own maintenance, its own documentation, and its own on-call engineers. AI pilots died not from bad AI, but from organizational exhaustion before the first agent ever reached an end user.
Intersect was founded in Shibuya in 2023 with a single thesis: build the integration layer once, correctly, for the specific stack that Japanese enterprises actually run — and give every DX team a five-week path from idea to production agent. Askhub is that platform. The connectors, the Japanese-language NLP tuning, the APPI-aligned data controls, and the white-glove implementation model are all there because we have seen what happens without them.
We are not a large SI firm. We do not take on every engagement. We take on the ones where the use case is clear, the data is accessible, and the team is ready to deploy something real.
Small team, sharp focus
Intersect is a focused team of engineers, product builders, and enterprise DX implementation specialists based in Shibuya, Tokyo. We do not offshore delivery. Every implementation is owned end-to-end by the same people who built the platform.
Every implementation makes the platform stronger
We take on a limited number of implementations at any given time. If your DX challenge fits the profile we work best on, we want to hear about it.
